My name is Julia Hill and I am an Illustrator.
I originally trained in Graphic design many moons ago before I went on to train in Illustration, and that has served me well over the years.
I still do some Graphic Design projects occasionally, but illustration is where my heart lies.
I have been drawing in black and white line for over 30 years, and use very tiny 0.03 and 0.05 fine liners mostly. I do work in other mediums occasionally but my black and white line work is what I am most associated with.

I grew up surrounded by countryside in Devon which is probably why I am drawn towards wildlife and botanicals. As well as freelance work for publishers and private commissions, I have my own online shop where I use my images to create a variety of products.
