With social platforms so hectic yet so important these days why do SME’s & large companies alike not use all the given platforms at their disposal? Is it because they don’t understand them, or they don’t know who their client base really is?
Media Pudding did a survey last month, & looked at which social links companies had on their websites & where their social links were. When we messaged them, most weren’t even aware, let alone where their links were ( do you know where yours are?). Ironically some hadn’t even updated their sites since pre- pandemic.
The sad thing is most sites are blogging sites (cms), but most companies just don’t understand this! For the 30 – 40 mins it takes to write a blog, update it, post on to their social platforms add a little SEO ,share to Facebook , Instagram, & boom you’ve just updated your site.
So how do you update your site template to adapt to an ever changing market ? Ask your developer ( us?) or you may have an agency you use. When did you last take a look at it, maybe you haven’t checked your social platforms in a while. Are they still relevant to your clients? Not your business people often get this wrong. What’s the point on being on Twitter if your clients aren’t?!
